A house with a garden and a car in the garage surrounded by unspoilt nature – the dream of many.
Many houses with gardens and cars in garages surrounded by greenery consume a lot of untouched natural land, which is enclosed, sealed, cut through, divided up and adapted to the conveniences of prosperity.
And urban sprawl has its price: the lack of jobs forces people to commute, dependence on cars is antisocial and expensive, infrastructure costs money, good public transport is hardly possible, and ultimately nature and the climate suffer.
