At the foot of Graz's Schlossberg hill are the cathedral, the mausoleum, the old university, the seminary and Graz Castle, which together are known as the city crown of Graz. In the picture, the cathedral and the mausoleum tower above the old town, while the seminary and the old university are only hinted at and Graz Castle is obscured by the cathedral.
The turquoise to golden domes of the sacred buildings stand out against the surrounding rooftops in warm red tones, their colours also reflected in other elements and thus harmoniously correlating with Graz's old town.
